The Father Robert Patrick O'Hara Council is in the hall of St. Francis Parish in Sherwood, Oregon, at 400 N. E. Oregon Street. The current Grand Knight for our council is Ed Hobbs. You can contact Ed by phone at 503-245-3754 or by e-mail for more information.
Second and Fourth Thursday of each month, 7:30 PM in the Parish's Old Hall.
The Second Thursday of each month is for the general membership, all
are expected to attend. The Fourth Thursday of each month is the
Officers and planning meeting, all can attend to help plan council
activities.
Father Robert Patrick O'Hara Council was founded in 1971 through the efforts
of Tony Trapani and LeRoy Nollette. It is named after Father Robert Patrick O'Hara, who
was a former Pastor of St. Francis and St. Cyrils. The Father Robert Patrick O'Hara
Council works closely with the St. Francis Parish of Sherwood and St Cyril's of
Wilsonville, Oregon, providing funds for various social services groups who approach
the parish along with two scholarship funds for university bound parishioners, two
seminarians and a nun. Members of the council also provide donated hours to parishioners
who need help at home along with assisting both St. Francis and St. Cyril's building and
grounds keeping.
