Catholic Charities' El Programo Hispano needs English/Spanish speaking interpreter volunteers.

Catholic Charities' El Programo Hispano is looking for volunteer interpreters who speak both English and Spanish. In addition of having fluency in both languages, the candidate must be culturally sensitive to the Hispanic community, and have basic knowledge of medicine, as the volunteer positions involves interpreting for clients during medical visits for their annual exams of women's health. Availability: schedules vary as doctor's appointments usually last approximately 60 minutes, and occur Monday-Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm.
