Women and Creativity: Altered Books Participants will bring a book to the first class that they wish to "alter" in some way-either simply for the artistry involved or because what the book contains troubles them in some way. The first class will prepare the book and explore potential techniques for altering. Subsequent classes will inspire, support, and accomplish the alterations. No "artistic talent" is required, but a brave heart will help as we engage in what your local librarian might call "defacing a book."
