The high school years are a time where our teens are starting to make decisions that will affect their trajectory in life. Knowing that they have a spiritual family, peers that support them, and mentors that reiterate their true purpose as a creation of God, will serve them well in the life-long decisions that they are and will make.
High school youth group is laid out differently than a typical "classroom". Meetings are active and engaging with adult leaders as mentors who lead discussion and build relationships in faith. These are moments of learning about who God is and how active He is in the lives of each one of us.
During the year, there will be opportunities of service for others in our parish family and for the greater community. Serving others is an essential element in living out one's purpose in life. Giving your teen these opportunities will set good habits in their adult life as they continue to strive for a life of virtue.
There will also be retreats and trips that the high school youth group will be a part of. Each of these opportunities have their own purpose in the spiritual development of your teen.
Although the
calendar has labelled regular meetings for middle school youth group, the activities and outings may vary with opportunities that arise. So, please make sure that you check your email for opportunities for your teen as these will be emailed out as they arise.
We will meet typically on Sunday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Kick-off will be on Sunday, September 26th!
Please know that all COVID safety protocol will be in place.
